Born and bred in Brisbane, Mark has a long, outstanding career in sales, beginning with Puma Australia for 4 years. He soon secured his own agencies and was a successful agent for Conquest Sports, the Australian distributor for Converse Footwear and Apparel, Starter, Authentics and Oliver Sport. During this time Mark received many awards including "Sales Rep of the Year" from 1989 to 1991.
Seeking a new challenge, in 2002 Mark and his family purchased Ray White Mt Gravatt. The business at that time was ranked 96th in the state. Through hard work, and by recruiting loyal and skilled staff, Mark nurtured the business and it has grown year by year. In 2013 Ray White Mt Gravatt achieved Top 10 Ray White Office in Queensland. Ray White Mt Gravatt continues to grow under Mark's leadership and it is acknowledged that we are one of Ray White's largest franchises on the South Side.
Mark prides himself on creating a culture within the business that is envied by many other businesses. Openness, true teamwork, honest communication and transparency are not only encouraged but expected by Mark from all staff. Mark has been invited on several occasions by the Queensland CEO to speak at their national conferences and discuss successful practices within his business. Well respected within the industry and more importantly by his team, much of Mark's day is spent mentoring and motivating his award winning team, giving them support, advice and encouragement when required.
In 2015 Mark took the opportunity to move the business to a larger premises at 1921 Logan Road, Upper Mount Gravatt to accommodate for the continued growth of Sales and Property Management. There is no doubt that the way people view Real Estate is changing and Mark will continue to work to keep the business at the forefront of technology, training and systems while never losing sight of our core values and our customer's needs.
